I am a junior studying Electrical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT)! My NSBE journey began during my sophmore year in college. I've noticed that it was a welcoming area for students like myself, and I am so glad I made that initial step in joining NSBE. NSBE has helped me in many ways. I have been able to develop my leadership, networking, and professional skills through growing with NSBE during my undergraduate career. The many opportunities that have come my way are also a representation of how NSBE has helped me. I appreciate this organization so much.

I am a senior studying Civil Engineering at Cornell University! I participated in a NSBE event while in high school and knew I wanted to be involved in my college chapter. I was a general member until my junior year when my student office asked me to step in as President during covid. While in University I participated in Brooklyn Tech High School PCI's pitch competition and wanted to join the REB to give back to other inspiring black/minority engineers. NSBE has made me escape my comfort zone and engage with like-minded individuals who want to grow in a great community of tech, to help encourage growth and inspire the next generation.
