REGION I TREASURER-

Shaneil DaSilva

I am a graduate student studying Packaging Science at Rochester Institute of Technology. I have been a general body member of NSBE since 2013! During that time I held the role of Senator, Telecommunications Chair, and Chapter President at various points in my career. NSBE has given me many tools that have helped me develop my professional career. It has opened doors to many different job opportunities in various fields and it has been exciting to pass the knowledge on to my counterparts!

Fun Fact: I used to be a lifeguard!

REGION I FINANCE CHAIR

Romeo Willis-Parreott

I am a 4/5 Software Engineering major at Stevens Institute of Technology. I joined NSBE during the '22 - '23 school year because of my chapter president Ozzie Nosa who quite literally grabbed me by the collar and dragged me on the board. He sold the vision of reviving a space for black students looking to improve themselves professionally and we, along with rest of the CEB made it come to life. I knew that the information and knowledge I would gain on the  REB would not only allow me to help my chapter but other chapters as well in securing corporate funds.

Fun Fact: I am a 7th Degree Imperial Yoyo Master!

REGION I ASSISTANT TREASURER

Aishat Agboola

I am junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. From a young age, NSBE has been a big part of my academics and life. My first experience was seeing my sister in her NSBE involvement and seeing a community of Black engineers come alive before my eyes. Since then, being an engineer was something I was determined to accomplish. Now that I'm here, being a NSBE engineer comes with its challenges but that's what makes this so rewarding. NSBE has helped me grow professionally, academically, and look at my future differently. I want to continue to grow and impact the wider NSBE region for years to come.
